Netflix announced today the release date for Two Graves, a new revenge thriller miniseries from Spain.
Kiti Mánver (Money Heist, Cable Girls, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) leads the cast of Two Graves (Dos tumbas), in which she plays a grandmother on a mission.
The story opens two years after the disappearance of Verónica and Marta, two 16-year-old friends. With a lack of evidence and suspects, the police close the investigation. But their cold case becomes an active one for Isabel (Kiti Mánver), the grandmother of one of the girls. She has nothing to lose, so she decides to carry out her own investigation in order to learn what happened the night the girls went missing. Isabel will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth, and what begins as the search for a culprit soon becomes a story of revenge.
Two Graves, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Friday, August 29, exclusively on Netflix.
Costarring in the three-episode series are Álvaro Morte (The Wheel of Time, Money Heist) and Hovik Keuchkerian (Red Queen, Money Heist). Also in the cast are Nadia Vilaplana (La vida breve), Joan Solé (See You in Another Life), Zoe Arnao (The Innocent), Nonna Cardoner (Welcome to the Family), Carlos Scholz (Toy Boy), and Salva Reina (Rotten Legacy).
A production of Sábado Películas (Code Name Emperor), the series is created by Agustín Martínez (Feria: The Darkest Light) and written by Martínez, Jorge Díaz (Acacias 38), and Antonio Mercero (Hache). It is directed by Kike Maíllo (Elite), who also serves as executive producer alongside Toni Carrizosa and Verónica Vila-San-Juan.
