Netflix has set the global premiere date for the new Swedish comedy-drama film Thank You, I’m Sorry.
A heartwarming story about forgiveness, family, and sisterhood, Thank You, I’m Sorry centers on Sara (Sanna Sundqvist, Tore, Bonus Family), who lives in a perfect nuclear family with Daniél (Mattias Ramos, Steam Room Stories), their little son Eliot (Amaël Blomgren Alcaide), and a second child on its way.
Then their life is turned upside down, and the heavily-pregnant Sara is suddenly left alone. But help soon appears from a completely unexpected source when Sara’s estranged older sister, Linda (Charlotta Björck, Charlotta × 8), a helpless, immature adult with a big, erratic dog, shows up from out of nowhere and offers to move in and help out.
Thank You, I’m Sorry, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Tuesday, December 26, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
The cast includes Ia Langhammer (The Truth Will Out), Peshang Rad (Bäckström), Juan Rodríguez (Before We Die), and Ville Virtanen (Bordertown).
A production of Meta Film Stockholm, the film is written by Marie Østerbye (Splitting Up Together, Rita) and directed by Lisa Aschan (Call Mom!, She Monkeys).
