Netflix announced today the global premiere date for Noise, a new psychological thriller film from Belgium and the Netherlands. Check out the (non-English-subtitled) trailer.
Noise follows Matthias (Ward Kerremans, Black Widow, Blackout), an influencer and young parent, who moves with his newborn Julius and wife Liv (Sallie Harmsen, Van der Valk, Heirs of the Night) to his childhood home, where he discovers a dark secret from his dementing father’s past.
As Matthias launches his own investigation into a local factory accident that is connected to his father, his probe ends up opening a Pandora’s box of secrets and unravels more family dramas than anticipated. Things spiral, and a deeply-concerned Liv will do everything in her power not to lose Matthias, but is it too late?
Noise, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Friday, March 17, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
The cast includes Johan Leysen (The American), Jesse Mensah (The Blood Pact), Lize Feryn (Hotel Beau Séjour), and Jennifer Heylen (Capitani).
A production of Caviar (Bad Sisters, Tabula Rasa) in collaboration with Lompvis, with the support of Screen Flanders and Caviar Film Financing, Noise is written by Robin Kerremans, Hasse Steenssens, and Steffen Geypens, who also directed the film.
