Netflix has set the global premiere date for its new Original Polish crime comedy series The Green Glove Gang. Check out the trailer!
Judging by the trailer, The Green Glove Gang (Gang Zielonej Rekawiczki) looks to be hilarious, so onto my ever-growing to-watch list it goes.
The Green Glove Gang, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Wednesday, October 19, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
The eight-episode dark comedy series follows Zuza, Kinga, and Alicja, older women who are friends and, as it happens, thieves. When their latest heist goes terribly wrong, and a rather distinctive piece of evidence could land them behind bars, the ladies, aka the Green Glove Gang, must go on the lam to evade the cops who are hot on their heels.
So they con their way into a nursing home to hide out — and quickly pick up where they left off with their thieving ways, while also putting a bit of giddyap in the steps of their fellow residents. But all is not as it seems at the nursing home, as the trio end up uncovering a sinister secret…
The series stars Magdalena Kuta (The Woods), Małgorzata Potocka (The Defence), and Anna Romantowska (Family Secrets), and features Beata Bandurska (The Thaw), Karolina Rzepa (Slad), Mirosław Zbrojewicz (Hold Tight), and Andrzej Grabowski (The Thaw).
