The wait for Season 2 of Call My Agent!, which premiered yesterday in the US and UK, was so worth it. Now begins the wait for Season 3 to arrive.

Oui, mes amis, there will be a third (most likely final) season of the hit French comedy-drama Call My Agent! (Dix Pour cent), so the stories of our favorite talent agents and their assistants will continue for a while longer.

Great! Because the show’s fans want to know what happens after the Season 2 finale!

But I get ahead of myself.

The season 2 opener finds Mathias Barneville (Thibault de Montalembert, The Tunnel, Commissaire Laviolette) still in the throes of the meltdown of his marriage.

At the ASK offices, Mathias, along with partners Andréa Martel (Camille Cottin, In the Shadow of Iris , Allied), Gabriel Sarda (Grégory Montel, Loin de chez nous, L’air de rien), and Arlette Azémar (Liliane Rovère, Candice Renoir, Détectives), have a major crisis: the talent agency is being audited.

Enter Colette Brancillon (Ophélia Kolb, Duel au soleil), tax auditor for the feds. As it turns out, she and Andréa have a history…

And the company’s financial woes are getting worse. A couple of top clients pull up stakes and move to competitor Starmédia, and a German company bails on buying ASK (a sigh of relief for ASK, actually). With Catherine Barneville (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Agathe Koltès) having taken her father’s money off the table as a lifeline, after she learned about the relationship between Mathias and Andréa’s assistant, Camille Valentini (Fanny Sidney, Hard), Agence Samuel Kerr needs an infusion of cash to stay afloat. And quick.

Enter Hicham Janowski (Assaâd Bouab, Kaboul Kitchen, Braquo), a brash, young multi-millionaire who made his bundle with a global dating website. (He and Andréa have a history, too.) Now owning 60% of the agency, his first order of business is for ASK to steal Starmédia’s top client, César Awards winner Fabrice Luchini (Tout ça… pour ça!), as payback for their poaching two of ASK’s.

Meanwhile, the four minority shareholders must still do as needs must to keep their clients happy and in front of the camera — from Andréa’s attempt to get two-time Academy Awards® nominee Isabelle Adjani (Quartet, Camille Claudel, L’histoire d’Adèle H.) in a new film by a director who hates her, to Gabriel’s requesting help from Arlette when César Awards winner Guy Marchand (Garde à vue, Nestor Burma) exhibits memory lapses during a film shoot.

Series 2 closes with an episode set at the Cannes Film Festival, where Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Chocolat) experiences a wardrobe malfunction minutes before she is to take to the stage and open the festival.

Sure, the people on Équipe ASK get some great perks, but their jobs often come with downsides, too — many of their own making.

Featuring Stéfi Celma (Second Chance), Nicolas Maury (Paris, je t’aime), Laure Calamy (Ava), and François Civil (Five), Call My Agent!: Season 2, a Netflix Original series, is currently streaming in the US & UK exclusively on Netflix.
