There’s a new Gaelic drama coming to BBC Alba — Bannan — and with any luck, Sassenachs outside of Scotland will be able to watch it, too.

Film stars from across the globe gathered at The Variety Studio Presented by Moroccanoil at Holt Renfrew during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this past weekend, including Swedish star Noomi Rapace.

Great news, Euro TV fans! Netflix is continuing to expand its program productions, this time with its first French drama, Marseille.

Kim Bodnia has been busy since leaving the cast of The Bridge (Bron/Broen). The Danish actor is currently filming August, and three films featuring him are in post production, including Jon Stewart’s directorial debut, Rosewater.

Original-language international series will continue to lead Saturday evening programming on BBC Four, as the BBC’s arts and alternative-to-mainstream entertainment channel will be bringing more Euro TV dramas to UK viewers.
