Prey, a new action thriller from Germany, is set to launch globally on Netflix in three weeks.
Prey centers on a group of five friends who, while on a hiking trip, find themselves in a desperate bid for survival.
On his bachelor party weekend, Roman (David Kross, The Reader), his brother Albert (Dark Woods), and their friends go on a hiking trip into the wild. When they hear gunshots nearby, they think it’s hunters in the woods. However, they soon realize they were mistaken and are forced to run for their lives, as they have fallen prey to a mysterious shooter.
Additional cast members include Maria Ehrich (Berlin Dance School), Robert Finster (Freud), Yung Ngo (Dogs of Berlin), Klaus Steinbacher (Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood), and Livia Matthes (The Typist).
A project of Senator Film Produktion, the film is written and directed by Thomas Sieben (Distanz), and produced by Barbara Mientus (Im Schatten das Licht).
