The Kollective, an English-language series from the Netherlands, is inspired by the real-life, Netherlands-based citizen investigative journalism group Bellingcat. (You might’ve watched the International Emmy® Award-winning documentary about them, Bellingcat: Truth in a Post-Truth World, which is currently available on another streaming service.)

The drama thriller The Kollective takes viewers around the world — from Budapest to St. Petersburg to London — in telling the gripping story about a group of intrepid young citizen journalists who, after a sudden tragedy, find themselves sucked into a globe-spanning web of government lies and corruption. Through a dangerous international investigation, the group exposes nefarious activities of rogue governments and discovers the human price of keeping truth alive.

The Kollective premieres in the US as a six-episode binge on Tuesday, June 10, exclusively on Hulu.

The international cast includes Natascha McElhone (Hotel Portofino, Halo), Celine Buckens (The Ex-Wife, Warrior), Felix Mayr (Senna, Unorthodox), Gregg Sulkin (The Six Triple Eight, World on Fire), Grégory Montel (Call My Agent!, Transatlantic), Karel Roden (A Spy Among Friends, McMafia), Cassiopée Mayance (Women at War, Make Love Not Kids), Martha Canga Antonio (Lupin, Baptiste), and Ralph Amoussou (Missions, Marianne).

The A+E Media Group series is directed by lead director and executive producer Assaf Bernstein (Fauda) and Randa Chahoud (Deutschland 89), and written by Leonardo Fasoli (Gomorrah), Maddalena Ravagli (ZeroZeroZero), and co-executive producer Ed Hemming (The Crown). It is executive produced by Submarine’s Femke Wolting; Patrick Vien, Alexandra Finlay, and Hannah Dal Pozzo for A+E Media Group; Andreana Saint Amour and Andrea Ozza for Rai Fiction; Frank Seyberth and Laura Mae Harding for ZDF; and Manuel Alduy, Morad Koufane, and Pascale Deschamps for France Télévisions.
