Netflix announced today the premiere date for Olympo, a new teen sports drama from Spain.

Olympo delves into the sporting, emotional, and life adventures of a group of elite young athletes who will have to test how far they are willing to go to achieve their goals.
The eight-episode drama series stars Clara Galle (“Through My Window” franchise), Nira Osahia, Agustín Della Corte (Society of the Snow), Nuno Gallego (Elite), and María Romanillos (Paraíso).
The country’s best athletes train at the Pirineos High Performance Center, where they push their bodies to the limit and sacrifice their lives for their sport. One amongst them is Amaia (Galle), the captain of the national synchronized swimming team. She demands only the best from herself and allows no mistakes, cutting herself zero slack. But when her teammate and best friend, Núria (Romanillos), outperforms her for the first time, Amaia realizes that some athletes are inexplicably improving their performance…
Olympo, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Friday, June 20, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
Created by Jan Matheu, Laia Foguet, and Ibai Abad, the series is produced by Zeta Studios, and directed by Marçal Forès, Daniel Barone, Ibai Abad, and Ana Vázquez.
