Jeanne Goursaud (Barbarians, Dear Child, Blood Coast) stars in Exterritorial as Sara, a traumatized former Special Forces soldier with painful memories of her deployment in the war in Afghanistan. She wants a fresh start for herself and her son, Joshua (Rickson Guy da Silva), and has secured a new job in America.

While at an appointment at the US consulate in Frankfurt, Joshua suddenly disappears. Because everyone claims they never saw him enter the building, nobody believes that Sara even had him with her, and she is asked to leave the premises. However, Sara knows that German authorities have no power in the extraterritorial area of the embassy, and if she leaves now, she may never see her son again. She must act quickly to find him.

But can she trust Erik Kynch (Dougray Scott, Crime), the head of security at the consulate, or the mysterious Irina (Lera Abova, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin), who is being held there and supposedly wants to help her? And can Sara even rely on her own perception?

Regardless, Sara is certain: A conspiracy is afoot, her son has been kidnapped, and she doesn’t know who is trying to cover it up or why. So, she disappears into the labyrinth of the consulate and begins her desperate search for Joshua with military meticulousness. Meanwhile, the loop of a dangerous intrigue is tightening around her neck.

Exterritorial, a Netflix Film, premieres globally on Wednesday, April 30, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)

The cast also includes Kayode Akinyemi (Vikings: Valhalla), Annabelle Mandeng (Vikings: Valhalla), Lara Babalola (Sløborn), Jeremy Schuetze (The Man in the High Castle), Samuel Tehrani (The Persian Version), Kris Saddler (Kate & Koji), and Nina Liu (The Secret Life of Us).
