Netflix has set the global premiere date for The Glass Dome, a new mystery-crime drama series from Sweden.

Based on a story idea by best-selling author Camilla Läckberg (The Fjällbacka Murders), The Glass Dome follows behaviorist and criminologist Lejla (Léonie Vincent, Bäckström, Spring Tide), who returns to a small, depopulated community somewhere in Sweden. She has mixed feelings about the place. It was here that she was held hostage as a young girl by an unknown perpetrator. But it is also the place where she’s finally found a home, one with Valter (Johan Hedenberg, The Breakthrough, The Sandhamn Murders), a former and now-retired police officer.
Soon after Lejla’s return, a girl vanishes, prompting Valter and Lejla to investigate the disappearance. It also forces Lejla to delve into her own darkness — a place she has tried to hide from for a long time. Time will show that the whole village is harboring secrets.
Could it be that history is repeating itself?
The Glass Dome, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Tuesday, April 15, exclusively on Netflix.
The cast also includes Johan Rheborg (Carmen Curlers, Agatha Christie’s Hjerson), Farzad Farzaneh (Bara barnen), Ia Langhammer (The Hunters, The Truth Will Out), Cecilia Nilsson (Snow Angels, Spring Tide), Emil Almén (Gåsmamman, The Unlikely Murderer), Emma Broomé (Taelgia, Murder in Sweden, ), Oscar Töringe (Baby Fever, Limbo), and Ville Virtanen (Bordertown, The Truth Will Out).
