Netflix has set the global premiere date for My Family, a new dramedy series from Italy. Check out the trailer.
Eduardo Scarpetta (My Brilliant Friend, The Law According to Lidia Poët, The Lions of Sicily) stars as family man Fausto in My Family (Storia della mia famiglia), which tells the story of Fausto and the last day of his life. A story of joy, passion, love for his children, and a lack of fear of the future. And a story of an absolute love and its dramatic and decisive breaking point.
But above all, this is the story of an unlikely family, of a beloved clan on which Fausto imposes unexpected responsibilities. A story of joys and falls, of laughs, of people capable of making macroscopic mistakes and small heroic gestures. A story in which, without exception, everyone doing their worst will try to do their best.
My Family, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Wednesday, February 19, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
The cast of the six-episode series also includes Massimiliano Caiazzo (The Sea Beyond), Vanessa Scalera (Imma Tataranni), Cristiana Dell’Anna (Gomorrah), Antonio Gargiulo (The King), Gaia Weiss (Marie Antoinette), Filippo Gili (Imma Tataranni), Jua Leo Migliore, Tommaso Guidi (Summer Limited Edition), and Aurora Giovinazzo (Nuovo Olimpo).
A production of Palomar (Murders at Barlume), My Family is written by Filippo Gravino (Romulus) along with Elisa Dondi (The Law According to Lidia Poët), and directed by Claudio Cupellini (Gomorrah).
