Ferry fans, rejoice! Netflix has announced a new Ferry film with Frank Lammers reprising his role as drug lord Ferry Bouman.
Set after the third season of Undercover, the new Ferry film sees Ferry (Frank Lammers), after having lost everything, retired for a life below the radar, far away from Brabant. On the surface, he seems to be doing well, surrounded by superficial contacts. But deep down, his inner voice haunts him, preventing true happiness. Ferry’s past is filled with violence, lies, and a trail of betrayal. He battles with his conscience while trying to keep a low profile.
So why would our tough yet charming drug lord come out of retirement for one last trick?
Also reprising his role is Huub Smit as Dennis. The rest of the cast will be announced at a later date.
A production of De Mensen, Wannes Destoop will direct the film, with Tibbe van Hoof and Geerard Van de Walle writing it. Ivy Vanhaecke and Pieter Van Huyck are executive producers.
The film will be produced in association with VRT and with the support of the Belgian Tax Shelter measure, and is planned to launch on Netflix in 2024.
Stay tuned for updates.
