Netflix has set the premiere date for Season 2 of the Turkish drama As the Crow Flies. Check out the teaser.
Turkish drama As the Crow Flies (Kus uçusu) is about the clash between the older generation, the decision makers of the world, and the up-and-coming younger generation — embodied in the characters Lale Kiran (Birce Akalay, The Choice), a seasoned news program presenter, and Asli Tuna (Miray Daner, The Protector), an ambitious young fan who maneuvers her way into Lale’s newsroom.
In Season 1, Asli is intent on getting to the top. But instead of earning it through hard work, she takes a different strategy to get into the upper ranks and be one of the most important people at the conference table much sooner. In so doing, Asli soon confronts the dark side of ambition, envy, and the desire to be seen, while Lale watches her glitzy life unravel, both at work and in her marriage.
Season 2 picks up where Season 1 leaves off: As the competition continues between Aslı and Lale within the cut-throat atmosphere of the media industry, Aslı strives to become a part of the lion pack, the power players, while Lale retreats into her shell with the pain of her loss.
As the Crow Flies: Season 2, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Thursday, December 14, exclusively on Netflix.
The cast includes Ibrahim Çelikkol (Intersection), Burak Yamantürk (Either Freedom or Death), Demircan Kaçel (Three Sisters), İrem Sak (The Pit), Defne Kayalar (The Protector), and Şifanur Gül (The Tailor).
