Created and written by, as well as starring, William Spetz (Quicksand), Tore is a feel-good-and-bad dramedy about running away from all the things that hurt while trying to figure out who you are.

When 27-year-old Tore (Spetz) loses the most important person in his life in a garbage truck accident, he does everything he can to suppress his grief. During the day, he continues to work at his father’s funeral home as if nothing has happened, and starts flirting with the new florist, Erik (Hannes Fohlin, The Restaurant). At night, he establishes himself on a party boat in the city and experiences alcohol, sex, and drugs for the first time — opening up a new and beautiful but risky world to Tore. But his best friend, Linn (Sanna Sundqvist, Toppen), and his colleagues at the funeral home quickly start to worry that Tore is about to lose his footing in his desperate attempts to escape reality.

Directed by Erika Calmeyer (Young Royals), the six-episode series costars Peter Haber (Beck) as Bosse, Victor Iván (The Sommerdahl Murders) as Viggo, Carlos Romero Cruz (Dumpad) as Shady Meat, Karin Bertling (Love & Anarchy) as Heidi, Lotta Tejle (The Simple Heist) as Ulla, Per Svensson (Death of a Pilgrim) as Per, and Doreen Ndagire (Live Life) as Lo.

Tore, a Netflix series, premieres globally on Friday, October 27, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
