FuboTV Inc. and Ryan Reynolds’s Maximum Effort have announced the launch of “Welsh Wednesdays,” a Welsh-language programming block, on Maximum Effort Channel.
As you might already know, Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, Free Guy) and Rob McElhenney (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Mythic Quest) purchased Wrexham A.F.C., the oldest football club in Wales, in November 2022. (Both also star in and executive produce the subsequent docuseries Welcome to Wrexham.)
Now Reynolds’s production company, Maximum Effort, and sports-first live TV streaming platform Fubo have joined up with Welsh-language TV channel S4C for Welsh Wednesdays — a six-hour programming block of Welsh content on Maximum Effort Channel.
The weekly programming, provided by S4C and curated by Maximum Effort, will include shows such as Bang, Petrol Head, Red Wall, Gareth Bale: Living the Dream, Wrexham Our Club and Vets.
Welsh Wednesdays launches in the US tomorrow, Wednesday, June 28, at 12 PM ET.

S4C, the national Welsh-language public TV channel in Wales, airs 115+ hours of programs a week across the UK, including news, drama, documentaries, music, entertainment, and children’s shows. Select titles are also available globally via the S4C streaming and social media platforms.

Maximum Effort Channel, curated by Ryan Reynolds and the Maximum Effort team, is available to watch on Fubo as well as Amazon Freevee, LG Channels, Plex, Sling Freestream, Tubi, VIDAA, VIZIO Watchfree+ and Xumo Play.
