Today Netflix dropped the official teaser and set the global premiere date for Season 3 of its hit Belgian-Dutch Original crime thriller Undercover.
Fans of Undercover, rejoice! The series will be back in relatively short order, and from the looks of the teaser, the new season is going to be another nail-biter.
Reprising their roles for Season 3 are Tom Waes (New Texas) as Bob Lemmens and Frank Lammers (Floodland) as Ferry Bouman.
Both men are in situations quite different from what they’ve been used to: Bob has been fired from his job as a cop, and the criminal case attached to him could end with a prison sentence for him. Ferry has just been released from prison, and he quickly realizes that his place as an ecstasy kingpin has been taken over by another gang. This new gang is highly organized and led by Serkan Bulut (Murat Seven, The Team) and Leila Bulut (Nazmiye Oral, Baantjer Mysteries).
When an undercover cop is murdered, the police suspect there is a mole in their midst. Patrick Diericks (Jeroen Van Der Ven, Salamander) has one solution: get Bob to infiltrate the Bulut gang to track down the killer — while undercover — in exchange for dismissing the criminal case against him. As Bob sees no other way out, he agrees to the job… and once again crosses paths with Ferry…
Undercover: Season 3, a Netflix Original series, premieres globally on Sunday, November 21, exclusively on Netflix.
