Netflix has announced the cast of its new Norwegian action-adventure fantasy film Troll.
With production of Troll having started in Lom, Norway, Netflix announced the film’s cast.
In the lead role of Nora is Ine Marie Wilmann (Furia, Exit, Bloodride). Kim Falck-Jørgensen (Hva Hvis?, Good Night Darling) plays Andreas, the advisor to the prime minister; Mads Sjøgård Pettersen (Home for Christmas, Occupied) plays Kristoffer, a captain in the Norwegian army; and Gard Eidsvold (Witch Hunt, Aber Bergen) plays Nora’s father, Tobias, a former professor in folklore research.
Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?
