Netflix released today the official trailer for Season 5, Volume 1 of its mega-hit Spanish crime thriller Money Heist.
Money Heist (La casa de papel), Netflix’s most popular Original Euro TV series to date, returns for its last hurrah — well, the first half of it — on Friday, September 3, when the five-episode Season 5, Volume 1 of the Spanish crime thriller premieres globally, exclusively on Netflix.
The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for more than 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own.
The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan.
Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army.
The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.
The series stars Úrsula Coberó (The Embassy) as Tokyo, Álvaro Morte (The Head) as The Professor, Itziar Ituño (Flowers) as Lisbon, Pedro Alonso (Grand Hotel) as Berlín, Miguel Herrán (Elite) as Rio, Jaime Lorente (Elite) as Denver, Esther Acebo (Los encantados) as Stockholm, Enrique Arce (Terminator: Dark Fate) as Arturo, Darko Peric (Mar de plástico) as Helsinki, Hovik Keuchkerian (The Night Manager) as Bogotá, Luka Peros (Mar de plástico) as Marseille, Belén Cuesta (Paquita Salas) as Manila, Fernando Cayo (Mar de plástico) as Coronel Tamayo, Rodrigo de la Serna (The Motorcycle Diaries) as Palermo, Najwa Nimri (Locked Up) as Inspector Sierra, and José Manuel Poga (Sky Rojo) as Gandía.
Joining Money Heist for its last-ever season are Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Sky Rojo, 30 Coins) and Patrick Criado (La línea invisible, Unauthorized Living).
Money Heist: Season 5, Volume 2, which is comprised of the final five episodes of the entire series, premieres globally on Friday, December 3.
