PBS Distribution is starting its roll-out of Walter Presents programs to PBS member stations and to PBS Passport with the hit Swedish crime thriller Modus.
In the second phase of its partnership with Walter Presents, PBS Distribution commences its regional roll-out of WP’s original-language, English-subtitled international TV shows on PBS broadcast stations this week.
In three days, actually, when the first season of Swedish psychological crime thriller Modus starts airing weekly on KLCS on Saturday, February 16, in the 11 PM PT time slot.
For folks inside and outside KLCS’ Los Angeles viewing area, Modus: Season 1 will also be available for streaming on Passport, the PBS membership benefit, starting tomorrow, Thursday, February 14.

In Season 1 of Modus, criminal psychologist and profiler Inger Johanne Vik (Melinda Kinnaman, The Bridge, The Eagle) teams up with Detective Ingvar Nymann (Henrik Norlén, Johan Falk, Thicker than Water) of Sweden’s National Bureau of Investigation to investigate two brutal murders — one of which was witnessed by Inger Johanne’s autistic daughter, who was seen by the killer. In the first phase of the partnership, nearly three dozen Walter Presents titles were added to the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video channel on Amazon — of which Modus: Season 1 was one. The series’ second season was added in December, and more WP titles arrive on the PBS Masterpiece channel this month.
