Fleeting Lies stars Elena Anaya (Past Lies, The Chalk Line) as Lucía, an executive at a high-tech beauty company who has fought to get as far away from her humble origins as possible.

One month before her wedding, on the day of what was supposed to be her promotion, Lucía is accused of industrial espionage and fired. Suddenly, her life and future take a drastic turn for the worst, as she ponders how to tell her fiance, Basilio (Hugo Silva, The Cook of Castamar, Drug Squad: Costa del Sol), that she has lost her job and the salary that supports the family.

So, Lucía doesn’t tell him. Instead, she continues her regular work routine while secretly starting an illegal cosmetic surgery business. Meanwhile, Basilio, as aspiring writer, has to face the fact that he has little to fill in the pages of his book.

Unwilling to accept failure, both Lucía and Basilio get themselves into a comical web of lies that will put their relationship to the test.

Fleeting Lies premieres in the US on Thursday, October 10, exclusively on Hulu.

Costars include Pilar Castro (“Through My Window” franchise, Unauthorized Living), Quim Gutiérrez (The Neighbor, The Accident), and Susi Sánchez (The Envoys, The Innocent), along with María Botto (Code Name Emperor), Pedro Casablanc (Toy Boy), Estefanía de los Santos (Mariachis), María León (The Asunta Case), and Julián López (Paquita Salas), amongst others.

Created and co-written by Nerea Castro (The Boarding School), the series is directed by Félix Sabroso (Caronte) and Marta Font Pascual (Breathless), and produced by brothers Pedro and Agustín Almodóvar (Talk to Her, Volver).
