Netflix has set the premiere date for Mrs Playmen, a new biopic-historical drama series from Italy inspired by a true story. Check out the teaser.

Mrs Playmen is inspired by the story of Adelina Tattilo, the editor of Mrs. Playmen, the first and most famous erotic magazine in Italy.
Starring as Adelina Tattilo is Carolina Crescentini (Everything Calls for Salvation, The Bastards of Pizzofalcone, The Sea Beyond).
Set in the conservative, moralistic Rome of the 1970s, the seven-episode drama series follows Adelina Tattilo, a pioneering entrepreneur in an era when women were confined to the roles of mothers and housewives. Adelina is a devout Catholic, but also a bold nonconformist who stood at the forefront of battles for divorce, abortion rights, and women’s emancipation.
When her husband, Saro Balsamo (Francesco Colella, The Leopard, Christian), abandons her, leaving her alone to face creditors as the sole owner of an empire on the brink of collapse, Adelina refuses to give up. She reinvents Mrs. Playmen, transforming it into a sophisticated and cutting-edge publication — defying the entrenched sexism of the time by gathering around her a team of brilliant intellectuals, daring creatives, and visionary photographers. Together, they break taboos, provoke the establishment, and ignite a cultural revolution, issue after issue, scandal after scandal.
Mrs Playmen, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Wednesday, November 12, exclusively on Netflix. (You can set a reminder for it now.)
Costars include Filippo Nigro (Suburra: Blood on Rome, Everything Calls for Salvation) as Chartroux, Giuseppe Maggio (Bardot, Baby) as Luigi Poggi, Francesca Colucci (A Professor, Romulus) as Elsa, Domenico Diele (1993, 1992) as Andrea De Cesari, Lidia Vitale (Drops of God, Luna Park) as Lella, and Giampiero Judica (Inspector Nardone, Thou Shalt Not Kill) as Don Rocco.
A production of Aurora TV, the series is directed by Riccardo Donna (Don Matteo, All Heart), and written by head writer Mario Ruggeri (Don Matteo, One Step from Heaven) along with Eleonora Cimpanelli, Chiara Laudani, Sergio Leszczynski, and Alessandro Sermoneta.
