Prime Video has set the multi-territory release date for Hotel Costiera, a new action comedy-drama series starring Jesse Williams. Check out the teaser.
Filmed in Italy, the English-language Hotel Costiera stars Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy, Only Murders in the Building, Station 19) as Daniel De Luca, a half-Italian former U.S. Marine who returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located in Positano on the spectacular Amalfi coast.
In addition to dealing with the problems of the hotel’s wealthy guests, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner’s daughters, who disappeared a month earlier. He must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced.
Hotel Costiera, an Amazon Original Series, premieres in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal as a six-episode binge on Wednesday, September 24, exclusively on Prime Video.
The Italian and international cast also includes Maria Chiara Giannetta (Don Matteo), Jordan Alexandra (The Winter King), Antonio Gerardi (La Porta Rossa), Sam Haygarth (Bridgerton), Tommaso Ragno (Monterossi), Amanda Campana (Summertime), Pierpaolo Spollon (The Good Apprentice), Alejandra Onieva (High Seas), and Jean-Hugues Anglade (Braquo).
A co-production of Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle company, Hotel Costiera is directed by Emmy® Award winner Adam Bernstein (Billions) and Giacomo Martelli (Anti-Mafia Squad), and written by Elena Bucaccio (Devils), Matthew Parkhill (Deep State), and Francesco Arlanch (Bulletproof Heart) from an idea by Luca Bernabei (Don Matteo).
