Without any further ado, the five Euro TV series headed to MHz Choice this fall are:

Master Crimes (France)

This crime drama series follows Louise Arbus (Muriel Robin, Captain Marleau, Call My Agent!), a psycho-criminology professor who is as brilliant as she is exasperating. But when she is called to consult at a crime scene that seems to have some connection to her, she creates her own investigative team by recruiting four of her students to help.

The six-episode first season costars Anne Le Nen (Antigone 34), Astrid Roos (Paris Police 1900), and Nicolas Briançon (Spiral).

Master Crimes premieres Tuesday, September 3.

Marianne, One of a Kind! (Marianne) (France)

Two-time César Award nominee Marilou Berry (Ugly Melanie, Look at Me) stars in this mystery-crime thriller series as Marianne Vauban, an investigating judge who is well-known for being outspoken and prone to unorthodox methods. Working alongside Captain Pastor (Alexandre Steiger, The French Dispatch, Irma Vep) and her loyal court clerk, Yves (Stéphane Pezerat, Murder In…, Everything Is Fine), Marianne must put her experience, wisdom, and empathy to good use as she investigates complex cases in sometimes outlandish circumstances.

The twelve-episode series costars Drimi Gouttebel (Where It All Begins), Alka Balbir (Miskina, Poor Thing), and Laurent Olmedo (Tomorrow is Ours).

Marianne, One of a Kind! premieres Tuesday, September 24.

Miss Merkel (Germany)

Previously announced is this series of high-concept mystery stories with a fresh and funny twist, based on the “Miss Merkel” books by writer and actor David Safier (Berlin, Berlin).

The feature-length films star Katharina Thalbach (The Tin Drum, Sophie’s Choice, Kafka) as former German chancellor Angela Merkel. Having left politics behind and now bored in retirement, Miss Merkel moves to the small town of Uckermark with her husband, Joachim Sauer (Thorsten Merten, Babylon Berlin, The Gryphon), and her pug, Helmut (as in former federal chancellor Helmut Kohl). When she finds a dead body, she transforms into a Miss Marple version of herself, discovering a new calling as an amateur detective.
