Netflix has announced the full, star-studded cast for the highly-anticipated new Nordic noir series, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole.
Even before the full cast was announced, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole was going to be a must-watch for fans of Euro TV, Nordic noir shows, and famed crime novelist Jo Nesbø. Who could say no to a show being written by consummate storyteller and best-selling author Jo Nesbø and starring award-winning actor Tobias Santelmann (Exit, The Arctic Convoy) as the titular anti-hero, Harry Hole?
Now, there are thirty more reasons to watch. The just-announced cast members include Joel Kinnaman (Altered Carbon, Suicide Squad) and Pia Tjelta (Made in Oslo, State of Happiness), as well as:

Also announced is Anna Zackrisson (Deliver Me, The Helicopter Heist), who joins the series as a director.
Created and written by Jo Nesbø, Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole (titled Jo Nesbo’s Harry Hole in the Nordics only), is a serial killer whodunit that involves two officers — and supposed colleagues — operating on opposite sides of the law. One is Harry Hole (Tobias Santelmann), a brilliant but tormented homicide detective who struggles with his demons; the other is his long-time adversary, the corrupt detective Tom Waaler (Joel Kinnaman). As the two navigate the blurred ethical lines of the criminal justice system, Harry goes head-to-head with Waaler and must do all he can to catch a serial killer and bring Waaler to justice before it is too late.
The nine-episode crime drama will be directed by Øystein Karlsen (Exit, Dag) and Anna Zackrisson. It is produced by Tor Arne Øvrebø (Succession, 22 July), and executive produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Katy Rozelle, Rene Ezra, Øystein Karlsen, Jo Nesbø, and Niclas Salomonsson.
