Prime Video has announced the start of production on Season 2 of Prisma, the acclaimed, viewer-favorite coming-of-age drama series from Italy.
Adored by viewers, coming-of-age drama series Prisma explores the complex relationships between the identities, aspirations, physical appearances, and sexual orientations of a group of teenagers in the city of Latina in the Lazio region of central Italy.
The series centers on the journey of self-discovery of Andrea and Marco, identical twins with very different approaches to life, and weaves in their group of friends, all of whom are looking for their place in an ever-changing world.
Season 2 picks up the teens’ stories from where we left them in the Season 1 finale, with series co-creator and director Ludovico Bessegato (The Hunter, Rocco Schiavone) also serving as writer along with Francesca Scialanca.
The returning ensemble cast includes Mattia Carrano, Lorenzo Zurzolo (Baby), Caterina Forza (3/19), Chiara Bordi, LXX Blood, Matteo Scattaretico, Zakaria Hamza, Riccardo Afan de Rivera Costaguti, Flavia del Prete, Asia Patrignani, Elena Falvella Capodaglio (Mental), Andrea Giannini (Don Matteo), and Nico Guerzoni.
All eight episodes of Season 1 of Prisma, an Amazon Original series, are currently available for streaming globally on Prime Video.
Produced by Rosario Rinaldo’s Cross Productions for Prime Video, Season Two of Prisma will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Italy. Beta Film will handle international sales in all other territories.
