The German docuseries Joko Winterscheidt Presents: The World’s Most Dangerous Show premiered globally today.
In Joko Winterscheidt Presents: The World’s Most Dangerous Show, actor Joko Winterscheidt (Look Who’s Back) does a deep dive into the impending climate catastrophe, one of the most pressing issues of our time, by facing his fears and helplessness in dealing with this crisis. He goes in search of ideas, solutions, and above all hope — but could it be too late for that?
To find out, Joko travels to places that are already directly affected by climate change, meets committed people who have taken up the fight against hopelessness with innovative ideas, and is made aware of his limits and his own contradictions.
On his visually-stunning, emotional, and surprisingly entertaining journey, Joko faces what is perhaps his greatest challenge: Despite his optimistic approach, Joko must realize that good will alone is not enough and that there are no easy answers. The deeper he dives into the complex topic, the more an uncomfortable question arises: How fundamentally must our social systems change in order to avert complete catastrophe?
The six-part Joko Winterscheidt Presents: The World’s Most Dangerous Show, an Amazon Original series, is currently available for streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
The series is produced by Florida TV, K2H, and 27KM Entertainment for Prime Video.
