Set in the Spanish Levante in the 1990s, Paradise (Paraíso) centers on the disappearance of three 15-year-old girls — Sandra, Eva, and Malena — who vanish without a trace from a nightclub in a coastal town in Valencia in the summer of 1992.

When the police investigation appears to be going in the wrong direction, Javi, Sandra’s younger brother, takes things into his own hands, along with his best friends Quino and Álvaro, and well as Zeta, the class bully. Together they discover that the girls are being held by something not of this world…

The cast includes Pau Gimeno (Amar en tiempos revueltos) as Javi, León Martínez (Merlí) as Quino, Cristian López (Centro médico) as Álvaro, María Romanillos (Maricón perdido) as Bea, newcomer Patricia Iserte as Olivia, Iñaki Ardanaz (Victim Number 8) as Mario, Gorka Otxoa (Velvet) as Morte, and Macarena García (The Ministry of Time) as Paula.

A production of Moviestar+ and The Mediapro Studio, the seven-episode hour-long series is created and executive produced by Fernando González Molina (The Legacy of the Bones, The Boat), who also serves as director, alongside writers Ruth García (The Boarding School) and David Oliva (Sky Rojo).

Paradise, a Max Original series, premieres in the US on Thursday, October 28, with its first four episodes, exclusively on HBO Max. The remaining three episodes will debut on Thursday, November 4.
