Netflix has announced the global premiere date for its new Spanish thriller limited series, Someone Has to Die.
Created and directed by Manolo Caro (The House of Flowers), Someone Has to Die (Alguien tiene que morir) will launch worldwide on Friday, October 16th, exclusively on Netflix.
The three-part thriller, set in the conservative and traditional society of 1950s Spain, opens with a young man in Mexico being called home to Spain by his parents so he can meet his fiancée. How surprised are his family, then, when he arrives accompanied by Lazaro, a mysterious ballet dancer.
The miniseries stars Carmen Maura (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Cecilia Suárez (The House of Flowers), Ernesto Alterio (Cable Girls), Alejandro Speitzer (La Reina del Sur), and award-winning dancer Isaac Hernández (El Rey de todo el mundo).
The cast also includes Ester Expósito (Elite), Pilar Castro (Unauthorized Living), Mariola Fuentes (Arde Madrid), Eduardo Casanova (The House of Flowers), Manuel Morón (The Plague), Juan Carlos Vellido (The Zone), and Carlos Cuevas (Merlí).
