HBO Max has announced the US premiere date for the new German drama series Para – We Are King and dropped the official trailer.
From the executive producers of the gritty German Max Original drama 4 Blocks comes Para – We Are King, which recently won Best Drama Series and Best Directing at the 2021 German TV Awards.
This six-episode drama follows four young women, best friends for life who grew up on the rough streets of Berlin’s Wedding district. But as Jazz (Jeanne Goursaud, Barbarians), Fanta (Jobel Mokonzi, Druck), Hajra (Soma Pysall, Beat), and Rasaq (Roxana Samadi, Notruf Hafenkante) are about to enter adulthood with uncertain futures ahead of them, a chance find gives them hope for quick money and a better life — and puts their friendship to the test.
Para – We Are King, a Max Original series, premieres in the US on Tuesday, October 26, exclusively on HBO Max.
