Kim Bodnia has been busy since leaving the cast of The Bridge (Bron/Broen). The Danish actor is currently filming August, and three films featuring him are in post production, including Jon Stewart’s directorial debut, Rosewater.
Also written by Stewart, Rosewater is based on journalist Maziar Bahari’s memoir, Then They Came for Me,
Bahari (Gael García Bernal, Babel), when blindfolded, recognized his interrogator by the latter’s scent and thus nicknamed him “Rosewater.”
Bodnia is intense as Rosewater. Check him out in the trailer below.
